Top Tools Apps on Android in Czech Republic: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Czech Republic saw notable activity in the tools apps category on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we explore the performance of the top five apps in this category.

eDoklady showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 13.4K and dropping to approximately 5.1K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 61.2K and 68.7K during the quarter.

QR & Barcode Scanner experienced a rise in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 8.3K. Its active user count remained robust, starting at 252K in early January and concluding the quarter with 225.6K users.

Portál občana maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around 5K to 6K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a downward trend, from 23.6K at the beginning of January to 17.1K by the end of March.

Google Translate remained consistent in its download numbers, averaging around 5.5K weekly. The app saw a stable user base, with active users peaking at 855K in late February before settling at 782K by the end of the quarter.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile had a stable download trend, fluctuating between 4.5K and 6K. Active users initially increased from 27K to 34.6K in February but then decreased to 21.9K by the end of March.
